The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened on November 5, featuring 3,496 exhibitors from 152 countries and regions. Both the number of participating countries and enterprises have exceeded last year’s figures, attracting 297 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders—setting a new record. Hosting the CIIE reflects China’s commitment to expanding openness and international cooperation. Over the past seven years, the CIIE has become a window into China’s new development model, a platform for promoting high-level openness, and a testament to China’s sincerity and commitment to shared growth with the world.
China will further advance institutional openness, actively aligning with high international standards in economic and trade rules. The country will continue to enhance its pilot free trade zone strategy and pursue more high-level free trade and investment agreements with other nations, thereby expanding opportunities for mutual benefit.
China also seeks to open its vast market even further, introducing unilateral opening measures to share more development opportunities with the world and truly transform China’s large market into a global asset. Following the launch of new incremental policies, key economic indicators have shown significant improvement, market confidence has strengthened, social expectations have been enhanced, and the economy is experiencing positive momentum and promising prospects.
